Agropur is currently looking for an ERP Business Analyst.

 

Summary:

The ERP Analyst shall investigate, troubleshoot, analyze, design, document, configure and test Agropur Ingredients Dynamics NAV ERP system and other custom and off the shelf software applications with a view to contributing to their support and evolution.  Software validation and verification is also a key responsibility within this role.  

 

Essential Functions include the following:

  • Monitors and finds solutions to system related issues and notifies users appropriately on the root cause of the problem, the solutions provided and/or the system's functionality
  • Provides application's functional and technical expertise as well as business process expertise to support end users;
  • Executes or participates in the execution of tasks such as preliminary analysis, functional analysis, design and configuration, unit and integrated testing, including keeping the systems' documentation up to date for incidents or enhancements to the system;
  • Work with the applications manager to ensure solution's integrity;
  • Work closely with the development team for modifying, designing and building customizations required to the system (CEMLIs);
  • Work with regulatory department to ensure that solutions meet regulatory requirements.
  • Keeps the applications manager informed on the status of his or her activities and on any actual or potential issues that might impact the quality of the project, the efforts being deployed or the timetable, along with providing fresh solutions.
  • Evaluate user requests to design/modify systems to align with existing or new business processes/goals.
  • Communicate with internal end users and external customers to determine the requirements of requested applications.
  • Create and maintain requirements, installation, and configuration specifications for software systems, both off-the-shelf and custom written.
  • Assist as needed in the administration and/or troubleshooting of existing software systems, both off-the-shelf and custom written.
  • Provide user training for the above-mentioned software systems.
  • With prior approval, purchase software.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Update knowledge and develop professionally on a continuing basis. Participate in internal and external training and development opportunities as required. 
  • Other job related duties may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

 

Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related field combined with a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience as a Business Analyst or related position.
