Agropur is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented person to join our growing team as an Inventory Control Clerk. 


Essential Functions include the following:

  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and determine product availability, terms of sales and preferred vendors.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Review purchase order service contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
  • Manage spare parts, organize the parts locations, keep inventory updated on Maximo.
  • Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.


Secondary Functions include the following:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent computer literacy/skills-work load requires working with on-line purchasing system.
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail and multitask effectively.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, procedures and related documents as needed).


Non-technical Competencies:

  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Requires the ability to communicate and document work.
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills.
