Agropur is looking for a Change Management Specialist.


Job Summary:

The Change Management Specialist develops change strategies supporting the achievement of business project goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Agropur's change management methodology, processes and tools;
  • Perform various change management analyses: stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, evaluation of preparedness for change, analysis of skills development needs;
  • Advise managers on the choice of appropriate change management strategies;
  • Develop change management strategies supporting commitment and adhesion to change;
  • Develop a training strategy and/or oversees its development to meet the skills development needs of employees affected by the change;
  • Develop and coordinates the change management plan, including activities supporting or strengthening such aspects as commitment, communication, organizational alignment, training and transition within the change process;
  • Develop and/or oversees the communication strategy, and ensures its implementation by producing communication support documents, as needed;
  • Play an advisory role with the managers involved in the changes taking place;
  • Present strategies and action plans to various levels of committees to ensure proper alignment and adhesion.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety Protocol
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts, and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or communications.
  • Master's degree in organizational development, human resource management or communications, an asset.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in organizational development and/or communication, five (5) of which (minimally) comprise communication and change management achievements;


Skills Required:

  • Excellent capability to mobilize and influence work teams/task forces;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
  • Willing and able to travel and visit various Agropur sites.
