Agropur is looking for a Master Scheduler.


Job Summary:

Responsible for overall planning and coordination of materials and resources for the efficient operation of our production facilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the plant schedule and sequence production plan using information gathered from multiple sources to drive daily and weekly materials needs along with operations output.
  • Plan, purchase and manage Raw Fluid Supply to support the plant schedule.
  • Manage raw silos, blend tanks, thermal processors and fillers.
  • Manage Inventories to eliminate and prevent excess and inactive products.
  • Drive accurate 3-month rolling Manufacturing forecasts in ERP system.
  • Understand  customer  and production priorities  and constraints.
  • Plans work Ooders and manage Master Production Orders.
  • Responsible to ensure accurate and timely communication of schedules with sales and operations personnel.
  • Analyze data to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Facilitates daily production meetings to supply information on the status of materials and production output.
  • Will support new product introduction and product transfers.
  • Must conduct job duties with a high degree of ethics, integrity and trust.
  • Work independently with minimal work direction from department manager.
  • Responsible to analyze data, think through and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide training and direction to less experienced staff.
  • Run Planning Engines -  MRP, MPS.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management with emphasis on Planning and Production Control or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting and performance measurement
  • Good mastery with MS Office tools are required.
  • Experience with Enterprise.Resource Planning (ERP) computer systems preferred. Must have strong communication skills, and ability to work in a Team environment
