Agropur is currently looking for a Human Capital Coordinator.

 

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Human Capital Business Partner, the Human Capital Coordinator provides administrative responsibilities to the department and is the primary receptionist for the manufacturing facility.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, answer phones, screen and direct calls. Ensure all visitors sign and provide appropriate safety equipment for plant tours.
  • Organize, schedule and provide all technical support and setup for company meetings.
  • Coordinate the employment process, to include scheduling interviews, physicals, drug tests and orientation, conducting new employee orientation, placing newspaper/online advertisements.
  • Complete accurately and according to schedule, all required reports, such as seniority listing, attendance, etc. 
  • Complete first report of injury forms, ensuring completeness and accuracy.  Maintain the OSHA log.  Distribute all required OSHA and insurance carrier reports and information to the appropriate persons.  Follow up on all injuries with employee and doctors.  Organize and maintain all injury files accurately.
  • Monitor thirty-day orientation period for new employees and schedule and conduct benefit meetings.  Ensure new employees complete all benefit paperwork accurately and follow-up on late paperwork.  Process all completed paperwork according to procedures.
  • Complete and distribute the insurance premium summary.  Notify payroll of correct payroll insurance deductions.  Complete disability insurance paperwork.
  • Coordinate employee meetings, employee recognition events, and company social events.
  • Manage security badges, lockers, uniforms and safety shoe programs.
  • Sort and distribute bi-weekly paychecks.
  • Prepare job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc., for the department and plant supervisors as needed.  Schedule meetings, notifying attendees, and coordinating locations, etc.
  • Act as the technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to the human resources function.
  • Organize and maintain the departmental office supplies, ordering as needed.
  • Verify employment of employees as requested. Follow up on all unemployment cases.
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Description of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties will be assigned periodically.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Three to five years customer service or receptionist experience.
  • Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all employees
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple products/tasks autonomously
